J'Adore Le Rose I Love Pink in French Poster

This fabulous pretty in pink design is available on 83 different cute products.

'J'Adore Le Rose' - a very different design for me.

I woke up this morning wanting to try something different with my designing. I wanted to make something cute, fun and pretty. I wanted to play with shapes and color. I wanted text married to those shapes and color. I wanted pink.

Pink is a very feminine color.

A feminine color requires a feminine shape to represent it. The circle is a beautiful, organic and gentle shape. It has no sharp edges. And like all things feminine, it defies conventional measurement.

I wanted bubbles, not just static circles.

I wanted to create a pink background that gave a sense of movement. I wanted there to be a sense of 'lift' within the image. And that this lift would, in turn, create a sense of 'lightness'. I called this my 'bubble pop' design.

A single tone background would have been too heavy.

I decided to graduate the pink background from pink to white, because it felt lighter. I wanted the design to focus on the color pink, but colors can not exist without contrast. The design needs a little white to bring out the gentle, warm effect of the pink.

I felt a very different style of text was needed for this design.

I felt this design needed a very modern and chic text. I felt that the font needed to understate the passion of the language. I feel this understatement enhances and enforces the passion of the language used: J'adore le rose.

J'adore le rose means I adore pink.

You have to be careful when using the word 'rose' en français. 'Le rose' means the color 'pink', but 'la rose' means the flower 'a rose'. 'La rose rose' would mean 'the pink rose'.

The perfect gift for the girl in your life.

All most every girl I have ever met loves the color pink. It seems to be almost universal. This abstract pink graphic, with its 'J'adore le rose' text is the perfect gift for your girlfriend, wife, daughter or mother. You could give this romantic French language present on Valentine's Day, her birthday or just to say she's special to you.

Why wait to be given this gift?

If you love pink, why not buy this 'j'adore le rose' design for yourself? Share your love of the color pink with the world, with everyone you meet! After all, is it really possible to have to much pink in your life?

J'aime La Nature I Love Nature in French Mugs

This is my newest French language gift. I wanted to make a product with an environmental theme.

The message in French is easy enough to understand: 'I love nature' or, as it is written in French, 'J'aime La Nature'. Once again I used the French flag colors for the text. I also selected a super friendly and positive font to convey this super friendly and positive message about loving our Mother Earth.

I wanted to make a really colorful design.

I created an abstract background to represent beautiful blue skies and rich, natural green grass. I love the mix of these two colors. Then I added the bright yellow and warm orange sun, with a smiley face. I placed this right in the middle of the skyline, so that it's shining light and life down upon the whole design.

I think this French language gift would be perfect for a French Speaking Nature Lover.

It would also appeal to anyone who loves nature, who is eco-friendly. An ideal gift for someone who believes in green living, for people who want to share their passion for nature with the world.

This French language product would also work perfectly for Francophones & Learners of French.

It's fantastic to be surrounded by language when you are learning or love a language. This 'J'aime La Nature' design would be great for students of French, linguists and linguaphiles.

Le Père Numero 1 #1 Dad in French Father's Day Keychains

Just sold one of these Le Père Numero 1 French Language Gifts / Presents for La Fête des Pères / Father's Day last night - very pleased about that! :-)

'Le Pére Numero Un' means 'Number One Father' in English. You'll notice that in French the word order is reversed. Having the qualifying word or adjective after the noun is common in the French language.

I designed this French language gift / present for Father's Day and for Dad's birthday.

In French Father's Day is called 'La Fête des Pères' (literally 'The Festival of Fathers'). It's also interesting to see how many common traditions exist between people all around the world. It's also very heart-warming. We're all not so different :-)

I selected more of a masculine font than usual for this French language gift / present to reflect the fact it's aimed at Fathers.

I wanted this to be a strong design, so I placed the font in all capital letters. I think this gives the effect of really awarding the Father / Dad with the number one spot!

I always like to mix text and graphics, if possible. The cup graphic you see here is great, because it has the '#1' on it. This makes it a perfect fit for this Number One Father French Language design.

I used the wonderful blue, white & red colors of the French flag on both the text & graphic of this Father's Day / La Fête des Pères Design.

I love locating a language by it's flag. I think it's a really simple, honest and beautiful effect. You'll notice that each of the two lines of French (Le Père and Numero 1) and the graphic have their own blend of the French flag colors.

I really like the effect of the blue, white & red fluttering across the design three times.

The design I sold was placed on black. This French language design is also available on a wide range of colors!

A perfect gift or present for Father's Day or your Dad's birthday, this French language design appeals to Francophiles, linguists and linguaphiles alike.

If you're stuck looking for a gift or present for a Dad who is learning French or a Father who simply loves France, this 'Le Père Numero Un' French language design works great!

The design I sold was featured on a Keychain. This French Language design is also available on 83 different gifts / presents!

Bonjour (French Flag Colors & Smiley Face) Bumper Stickers

This is the most popular of my French language designs at the moment :-)

This a real happy design for me. I love the happy smiley face, smiling out at you in the brilliant white of the magnificent French Flag.

The black background sets of the potent and striking blue, white and red colors of the French Flag.

These colors have come to represent the founding principles of the French Republic: liberty, equality, and fraternity.

The blue, white and red of the French Flag were also the focus of Polish Filmmaker Krzysztof Kieslowski's French language cinematic masterpiece: The Three Colours Trilogy.

Rather than blending the colors of the French Flag (as I have in other designs), I decided to fit the blue, white and red to specific letters within the French word 'bonjour'. I feel this represents the French Flag more closely and invokes a stronger reference to it :-)

'Bonjour' of course means 'hello' in French (or literally 'Good Day').

It is the common greeting used in France and in France speaking countries, like here in Luxembourg where I live.

I say 'bonjour' on a daily basis to my French speaking neighbours, shop assistants and the people I meet in my day to day travels around the beautiful country of Luxembourg.

I selected a simple and friendly font to reflect the simple, friendly and everyday nature of the French expression 'bonjour'.

I think this French language design would make for the perfect gift / present for learners of French (from beginner to advanced)

This French language product would also be the perfect gift / present for people who share my passion for the magical French language: Francophiles, linguists and linguaphiles :-)

This bonjour French language design would also make a great gift / present for anyone who loves France:

Perhaps you've travelled to France and would like to 'continue' your trip? Hold onto that French feeling by sharing some of my French language designs with your loved ones :-)

Or perhaps you hope to travel to France one day and want to start feeling French culture already? Buying some French Language designs is a great way to embrace French culture.
